Exploring ideas

These pieces have been in the studio for a while now. I have been mulling various ideas about how to use them. I have some vague ideas in mind but as usual once I start working, the 'process' evolves and can take me in unexpected directions. I like this aspect of surprise and enjoy having the flexibility of following the new 'paths' that emerge.

My starting point on this occasion was a leaflet from Greenpeace which featured an article about the state of the oceans and the fishing industry. It kicked started thoughts about the Sea and a return to my interest in the Arctic.
